End of Week 7/8/9 - The Good, the Bad or the Ugly?!

Hi there - yep it's been three weeks since my last post!

Shannon and I had a fabulous time in the UK, it was great catching up with family.  After all it's been 10 years for most of them :-)

Anyways, I did treat myself to some good food whilst away but didn't over indulge.  Had to have the obligatory UK fish and chips on several occasions, and totally delicious they were too!

We arrived back to Ottawa and home last Wednesday evening.  I gave myself a few days to get back into routine and get over the jet lag.

Yesterday was my first day back on the Treadclimber.  At first I was thinking that I would drop the levels back down, however, decided to go in at the deep end and start off again where I left off before going away.

So even though it had been 2 1/2 weeks since I was on there, I surprised myself and managed it without much huffing and puffing LOL!

Here's the work out sheet covering this last 3 weeks.  I worked up to the day I left and then as I said back at it yesterday.

I thought that because I hadn't done anything whilst away (apart from lot's of walking) that my fitness score might have gone down.  But as you can see it stayed the same, so well chuffed with that.

Anyways, on with the Good, the Bad or the Ugly.

Start Weight

End of Week 6 - Oh no! and a stone :-)

Well hello my friends.

Another week has gone by and I really don't know how the time is flying so fast.

Last week saw my daughter, Shannon, Graduate from High School and come September she will be off to college to study to be a Veterinary Technician.

So proud of her.  She achieved Honor Society for getting an average of over 80 in all her years courses, she picked up a scholarship/bursary from the A Y Jackson Alumni (her school) and also an award for having the highest semester average for Mathematics :-) Here she is smiling from ear to ear :-)

So, as part of Shannon's grad gift I am taking her to the UK for 2 weeks R and R (relatives and reprobates LOL) visiting family and friends :-)

The "Oh no!" in the title refers to the fact that I will not be exercising, as such, whilst I'm away.  But hey, I can overcome this obstacle, by making wise choices as far as food goes, with the odd treat thrown in for good measure.  After all one can't visit the UK and not have fish and chips by the seaside :-)

Anyway's here's this weeks breakdown.

Sunday saw me get rid of that 1.9 mph and now I am all up in the 2's :-)  I wonder where I will be when I come back.  I think I might have to start a little lower again to get back into it - we will see :-)

Here comes the weigh in :-)

Start Weight
220 lb

Weight Last Week
208 lb

Weight This Week
206 lb

Weight Loss
2 lb

Weight Loss Total end of Week 6
14 lb

I expect your wondering where the stone in the title comes in.  Well, in the UK we used to (may still) measure our weight in stones and pounds.  And I have now lost 14 lb which is 1 stone :-)

My next post won't be until Monday 25th July and that will be to share either the good, the bad or the ugly LOL!

Have a fabulous few weeks.
