End of Week 58 - Happy Place and Time out :-)

Happy Monday - oops Tuesday! Everyone :-)

Stopping by with a quick howdy doody and wishing all my American friends a very Happy 4th July.

This past weekend we also celebrated Canada's 150th Birthday on July 1st - Happy Canada Day.

Ok, so here goes.  I have decided that I am at a happy place with my weight.  I am going to endeavour to stay below the 150lb for the foreseeable future.

As far as my mindset is - I need a time out :-)  Time away from the scales, time away to recognise that this is the new me.  That I can be this person, that I have achieved what I need to achieve for me. It's difficult some days - and I am working on it - that I can and will be comfortable and not have to justify myself to me or anyone else.

I still plan on exercising, eating healthily and keeping in control of me.

So I have decided that I will only check in on this blog periodically over the next few months, just to let you know how I'm doing.  I have been doing this blog now every week for the last 14 months and it certainly was one of the best things I could have done.  Being accountable along the way has helped me achieve each and everyone of those goals.

I thank everyone who has supported and encouraged me along the way - I really have appreciated it x

Well, lets end with a quick workout sheet and weigh in.  (I will also get around to doing final measurements and photos over the next few weeks, and share those in a separate post.)

Weather was atrocious this past week - with rain constantly.  No gym as couldn't get my head around a few things :-)

I have already been for walks yesterday and today so while weather permits will be doing this as often as possible.

Onto the weigh in.

End of Week 57 - Getting my Walk on :-)

Happy Monday everyone.

I have been making the most of my times between rain storms this week.  The good thing about the rain - we seeded some grassy/muddy areas this week, so at least we haven't had to go out and water.
Looks as if this week is pretty much the same, although still time to fit in those outside walks.

School is officially out for Summer - although Shannon finished end of April, Emily finished this past week with end of semester exams.  They both go back the day after Labour Day.  Although, I will have a road trip and stopover with Shannon towards the end of August to get her settled once again at college residence.

Shannon has a busy couple of weeks now, she has Drivers Ed this week - yes finally!  Then she is away for 5 days visiting a friend :-)

I also forgot to mention, Shannon and I got our first tattoo's at the beginning of June :-)

We had discussed it quite a lot and I wanted to do this with her.  So, here they are...

Mine - Love is Infinite

Shannon's - imperfections

These photo's were taken straight after us having them done.  They have healed nicely and we have to go back for a little touch up in the middle of July.

Yes the e in the word imperfections is reversed - hence the imperfection. It also means a lot to Shannon and was part of how we chose what we wanted to have done.  It had to mean something to us :-)

Let's get on with those workouts.

Only at the gym twice, however did fit in 3 Nordic Walks, with the last two being 10km or thereabouts.  When I got back after my walk on Saturday, I had missed the 10km by .05km - LOL! Therefore, on Sunday I walked a little further and took it over the 10km :-)

Let's get onto that weigh in :-)

Start Weight

Weight lost - and nearly there.  Come on I can do this!

Although, when you think about it, I have done it.

I am healthier, fitter and feel so good compared to this time last year.  I have noticed that even in this humid weather, I am coping much better without all that extra weight to carry about.  I think I have found my happy place :-)

Have a great week everyone.

End of Week 56 - Maintain and a first!

Happy Monday everyone.

Going to be a bit of a short post this week.  Just checking in really.

Shannon and I intend to hit the gym in the mornings this week - as often as we can.  We seem to really not feel like going in the evenings lately :-)

I wanted to share something funny and a first.

This past weekend, hubby and I were being silly and I said you'll have to try picking me up LOL!

Well, for the first time ever!!! he actually picked me up and carried me around the house!  You might think well what's good about that.  So, you see, I have never been this weight with my husband - in fact haven't been this weight since I left school in 1983!  We laughed about this and the fact that he was able to do it, I would never have let him even try at my old weight LOL!

On to the work outs.

As you can see, I only made it to the gym once this week.  However, I did do 4 Nordic Walks and 2 of those were 10km!

I use MapMyWalk to record my walking, but for some reason on those 10km walks it doesn't record the first 5km properly and when I pause to take a drink, it puts the distance as the crow flies!  So, when I get back I have to change it manually as it only records an 8km walk and the times are all wrong.  Luckily it records the time you start the workout, so I just check the time I get back and use those to enter the details.  Don't know if it's a glitch or what, but I'm going to see if I can get an arm band for my phone, to see if maybe something is happening when it is stored in the pouch I carry round my waist with the water bottle.

Onto the weigh in.

A maintain. That's ok!  It has been a very hot and humid week, so I'm thinking it maybe a bit of fluid retention.  I know my water intake hasn't been as good as normal this week too.

Always good to drink plenty of fluids, so will try harder this week.

Will try and get in some more walks this week, as I am enjoying the fresh air and I just switch off to the world and just go for it.  Providing it's not too humid I should be good to go :-)

I hope that you all have a fabulous week.

End of Week 55 - Walking Walking and more Walking.

Hi there everyone - hope you have had a great week.

Our temperatures have risen dramatically over the last few days - with heat warnings in place as the humidity levels reach 40c (104f) today.

The rest of the week is still to be very warm but hope I can get some outside exercise done, as I do enjoy my walks.

I am going straight into the work outs for this week.

I managed to get 4 Nordic Walks in this past week and managed to beat my record.  The Friday night walk was a little slower as hubby came with me and we tend to natter on the way around LOL!

Three good sessions at the gym too.

Weather permitting I am going to try and get a couple of 10k walks in this week - lets see how that goes eh! :-)

Onto the weigh in.

Another 1 lb down and a week closer to that final goal.

It will soon be the summer holidays here.  Shannon has been home from college since the end of April and has lost 10lb - go Shannon.

Emily has two weeks left in in school, with next week being end of Semester exams. Then she will be off school for 10 1/2 weeks summer break.

So that's it for this week - I am happy with who I am and what I have achieved.  Feeling good about myself and life :-)

Have a great week everyone.

End of Week 54 - Mind over Mirror!

Hello everyone.

Monday morning here in Canada and raring to go for another week.  Weather certainly needs to improve though - it was quite chilly over the weekend and for today, but meant to improve over the week.

So this week my post is about self image after losing a lot of weight.

This is what I see in the mirror. (Taken Feb 2017, will do a new photo soon)

But in my mind I, sometimes, still see this!

It's difficult, isn't it.  I know I have lost all this weight and feel great most days.  But some days, my mind plays tricks on me and I still see the old me.

I look in the mirror and see the new me, but when I'm just sitting down or just pottering around - I still see the imperfection - the fat me!  I have to admit not all the time, but it feels like my mind is trapping me in my old self image.

I need to focus on the now, who I am now and what I have achieved.

Friends have said how good I look, and even though all my life I have found it difficult to accept a compliment, I have been trying to acknowledge those compliments from friends with a positive "I feel fabulous, thank you."

Apparently, it is quite a common scenario this "double image" and it is something that I have to overcome.

I will have to keep telling myself that this is the new me, I can do this.  The reason I got rid of all my fat clothes a couple of months ago - is so that if I put a little weight back on - I can't put the old clothes back on - I have to adjust myself!

Now I just need to adjust my mind!

Anyways, lets get on with the workouts.

And the weigh in.

A maintain - which I am fine with.

I am giving myself till the 1st July - what ever I weigh on the 1st of July is going to be my goal.  I will do measurements and final photos then too.  I will endeavour  to stay within a 10lb range around that weight - I think that will be achievable.  I will also concentrate more on maintaining and toning what I have achieved.

I can eat normally and healthily (the occasional treat will be there too), continue to exercise and maintain my weight for the future me.

After all, this is about me - no one else can do this for me - so "mind" listen up "this is the new me - so deal with it - OK!" :-)

Thanks for your continued support.

Have a great week.

End of Week 53 - Guilty, Not Guilty, Fear of Failing!

Hi everyone.  Hope you are all well.

Summer seems to come and go here at the moment, but the weather is definitely changing for the better and that makes me feel good.

I have a few things I want to talk about this week and not really sure where I'm going with it, but any comments/advice would be greatly appreciated.

How do you stop feeling guilty when you have a treat?  Should I even be feeling guilty?

After all, I changed the way I eat so that I don't class it as a diet, but more healthy eating and being aware of what I am eating.  So why feel guilty?!

I think it stems from so many years of  eating unhealthily and not caring what I was eating. Also, using food as a comfort and coping mechanism when things weren't going right in my life!  Now that I find myself on the healthier side of life and almost to goal, the fear is setting in - what if I fail?!

So, I have had to give myself a talking to this week, to try and get my mind set in the right place.

I have in no way, failed!  How can I have failed?

I have lost so much weight, I know that I feel 100% better than I have ever felt and I did this for me!

I believe I have taken the right steps.  I found two great blog posts about having that treat and found them very helpful.  Here are the Links,  "Food and Guilt" on the Hungry Healthy Happy blog and this one "You can stop feeling guilty about liking food" on the Sean Flanagan Fitness and Nutrition blog.

Sometimes, you just need a reminder that it is ok to feel like this and that you can do something about it.

A few of the key points I picked up from these two posts are :-

  1. Move away from the notion that there is "good" and "bad" food!  Food is neither and labeling it as such, gives the food control!  You are in control not the food!
  2. Remind myself that eating is about balance.  Have I had an otherwise healthy eating week, having that slice of cake and coffee is not bad.  Don't look at every food choice and analyse it, not every food you eat has to be "perfect".
  3. It's about choices that are right for me, and enjoying them and forming good habits.  Life shouldn't be full of guilt. Life is for living and for being happier with who I am.
  4. Skip the guilt :-)

So, I am in control is my new mantra :-)  I am doing this, I have done this, I have got this :-)

As the post is getting rather long I'll save the next bit till next week - all about image!

Onto the workouts.

Yep - that was 3 hours of gardening on Saturday!  Moving bricks, plants and a whole lot of other stuff :-)

End of Week 52 - 1 Year Anniversary!

Hello there my blogging buddies.

Can you believe that I have been on this journey of getting fit for 1 year?!

I am most definitely fitter and feel so much better about myself.

This time last year my husband facilitated this journey, by letting us purchase a Treadclimber machine - we had it on a 60 day money back guarantee as I needed to see how it would be.  I had hip issues, knee issues and general health issues.

After the first use of the Treadclimber at just 1.5mph and for 15 minutes, I knew that I could do this. My knee didn't hurt, my hip didn't hurt  - the only thing, I ached like hell LOL!  From that day I knew that with the right determination I could do this!  I was quite regimented and used the machine every day, dropping to 6 days a week several months in.

In the New Year I joined the local gym with the hubster and so I did the Treadclimber and the gym throughout the week.  As the weather started to change, I have been able to get out walking in the fresh air and then go to the gym too.

Now, I seem to have gotten into a routine where I either do the gym or go for a Nordic Walk (weather permitting), the Treadclimber hasn't been used much these past few weeks and we are actually trying to sell it - but it is still there for the time being.

I will be forever grateful to the hubster for taking a leap of faith in me and encouraging me along this journey.  I would not have believed this time last year, that I could achieve what I have achieved and to finally feel happy about me.  I can even say that I honestly enjoy clothes shopping for the first time in my life :-)

Anyways's on with those workouts.

I did only manage 2 days at the gym and 2 walks this week.  Although, I did mow the lawns on Monday (and the mower weighs a ton) for 90 minutes and had a fabulous (almost) 10k walk with hubster on Saturday :-)

Onto the weigh in.

Yay another great week!  Only 4.5lb to go to my final goal!  Who would have thought this time last year I could achieve this much!

Thought I would do some measurements to see how I'm doing there too!

(if you click on the photo it will enlarge it)

My arms and legs are slowly toning up.  That is the plan once my goal is achieved, to not only maintain my weight but to improve the toning of my muscles (yep I do have some LOL!).

Hubster lost another 1lb this week, making his total so far 27lb!

I would like to thank all those that have been following me on this journey - hope you'll stay with me for just a little bit longer :-)

Have a great week everyone.

End of Week 51 - I can :-)

Happy Monday everyone.

I started this journey, the day after my daughters Grade 12 Graduation Dance 2016, so the 21st May will be the one year anniversary of me getting fitter.  Think I will have to share some measurements next week. However, the next lot of photo's will be when I reach my goal of 140 lb.

I changed up my Workout graph this week - to include everything on one graph.  And as the weather is changing I have been able to do a little more walking outside.

What do you take with you when you go out for a walk or a run?

I don't take any music with me, I love just listening to what's happening around me, the birds singing and sounds of life in general.  I find it quite relaxing, thought provoking and peaceful. Lets me blow away those cobwebs and inhale the world :-)

Onto those workouts.

(If you click on the graph it will open up larger so you can see more clearly)

So, as you can see, I didn't use the Treadclimber this week.  I did, however, do some Nordic Walking and my time and distance is improving.  Also, I have started going down the gym with the hubster in the evenings now, instead of early morning.

Onto that weigh in for the week.

Hubster lost another 1 lb making a total of 26 lb.  Go hubby :-)

End of Week 50 - Rain, rain, go away!

Another Monday here, and we are well into the month of May.

It has not stopped raining this past week, in fact only one day that it didn't rain and I took the advantage and went for a walk :-)

Do you ever get those days where you can't stop picking at food!?  I had a few days like that last week, so this week I am going to focus on eating properly and continue with my gym, Treadclimber and walking (weather permitting) to get back to the plan :-)

What do you do when you have food cravings?  Usually, when I get like that I try and do stuff around the house or get out of the house!  But it rained so much last week that it really put a dampener on that, bring on the sun - please!

Anyways, let's get on with the workouts.

I may change this work sheet a little for next week, and just show the average mileage on the Treadclimber - instead of breaking it down as above.  Then I can include the Nordic Walking on the same graph.

I actually beat my record on the Nordic Walk this week - so was well chuffed with bringing it down to 10.05 mins per km (16 mins per mile)  :-)

Hubby has now lost a total of 25 lb - he has another 18 lb to go to his target.

Shannon has also started a fitness drive, eating healthier and coming to the gym with hubster and I :-) She has lost 7 lb in her first 2 weeks - go you!

We can do this !

End of Week 49 - A bit of this and a bit of that :-)

Morning/afternoon/evening everyone! Weather is atrocious here today - rain all day.

Oops meant to post this yesterday - got distracted LOL!

Youngest daughter Emily is on a Mini-Enrichment week at one of the local universities, she is doing a Write by the River workshop. Means early mornings and trying to get through rush hour traffic, but I know she is going to enjoy this opportunity.

Eldest daughter Shannon has managed to get herself a summer job, whilst she is home from college, and she starts that today.  She also passed her second Semester exams, for Vet Tech, and passed with flying colours - her GPA for the first year was 3.47 - well done Shannon x

Anyways, I have had a great week and really getting back into a routine of sorts.  Andy took the week off work, so spent some time with him too.

Here's the workouts.

Now that I have changed up my exercise plan, we are putting the Treadclimber up for sale - it has served it's purpose, getting me fit and into a routine of exercising.  I intend to do more outside walking - as the weather changes, after all we need that good old Vit D :-)  In the Winter months I will just do more gym visits.

Had a beautiful day on Saturday, so whilst Andy and Shannon went to the Senators/NYRangers Hockey (and they won 6-5, what an awesome game!), I decided to take the opportunity to go out for a great Nordic Walk :-)

End of Week 48 - Penultimate Goal and some!

Happy Monday everyone!  Hope you all had a great weekend.

My eldest daughter, Shannon, came home from college this past weekend.  First year of college finished and now she's home for the summer - yay!

Over the past few weeks, I have been maintaining my weight and so I did some research to see how I could kick start my weight loss again.

Last week I posted about maybe doing too much exercise and not eating enough to compensate etc, also about changing the way I exercise.

So this past week, I have alternated the forms of exercise as much as I could.  I upped the weights a little in strength training, upped the elliptical levels at the gym. I also changed the eating slightly, to increase the protein and reduce the carbs.

Onto the workouts.

This week I am going to try and do three visits to the gym, I'll see which days work the best and see how I go.

Let's do the Weigh in.

Whoop whoop!  Back on track!  Penultimate goal, 150 lb, reached and some!

My next goal (posssibly the last, but will review) is 140 lb - so only 9lb to go!  Think I need to go to a boot camp or something LOL!

I have reached the 150 lb for Canada's 150th Birthday Year - 2 months ahead of July 1st celebrations. I wonder if I can reach the next goal by then?  Although, I am giving myself till Christmas - think I can do that :-)

It seems that the change of exercise and eating habits has worked for now and got me back on track.

If you have any tips about losing that last few pounds let me know!

End of Week 47 - Hmmmm! Fear of Failure and a bit of research.

Hi everyone.  I hope you all had a wonderful Easter weekend.

I'm a day late writing my post this week, what with Easter Weekend.

I wanted to do a little bit of research, more on that in a moment.  I'll go straight into last weeks workouts and the weigh in for now.

The weather played nice for a couple of days last week so managed a couple of walks in the sunshine :-)  I have taken a couple of days off over the long weekend - just because :-)

Onto that weigh in.

So!  Another maintain!

I have this fear of failing - but I have to keep telling myself that in no way have I failed!  I have after all lost 69lb!!  But that doesn't stop me wondering what I'm doing wrong - if anything.

Then I re-read the quote from last weeks post "Failure will never overtake me if my determination to succeed is strong enough." And that's what it is - my determination is keeping me on the right track,  so I hit the internet and did some research, and this is what I found.

Hitting that plateau can be hard on your mind set, however there are things we can do.

I found this great article by Jillian Michaels (fitness expert from Biggest Loser etc) heres the link if you want a full look at what she has to say - but here are a couple of the key points that I picked up on.

  1. Are you keeping track of your daily calories?  Yes I am.  I use My Fitness Pal to keep account of my daily calorie intake and exercise.  I am pretty vigilant with recording what I eat, drink etc and what's the point in not doing it properly - you are only lying to yourself - right?!
  2. Are you trying to lose Vanity Pounds? Yes - I suppose :-)  The last 10 - 15 lb can always be the hardest part of any weight loss program.  You weigh less, so your body has to work harder to get rid of those last few pounds.  Your body needs some fat to survive on,  if you intensify your workouts and cut calories (energy out to energy in) your metabolism slows down and your body will think you aren't going to eat enough so decides to hold onto that extra fat as a safety net!  Bummer right!  So, where I thought by doing the extra workouts sometimes up to 3 times a day, Treadclimber - Gym - Nordic Walk and keeping the calorie intake down was good (around 1250 cals per day), actually I was sabotaging my weight loss!

So, what do I do about it!  Changing up what I eat and changing the way I exercise.

For this coming week (to see how I go),

Step 1 - I am going to limit myself to one form of exercise a day. And also alternate the days. Tonight I am going to the gym with hubster - tomorrow I will do the Treadclimber or Nordic Walk (weather permitting) and then a gym day, walk day etc

Step 2 -  To try lowering my carbs/fats intake (not eliminate completely) and raise my protein intake. Why?  Carbs are an important source of fuel for our muscles during exercise, fat is also needed for everything from brain function to cell structure.  Calorie for calorie however, protein has the most metabolic benefits for weight loss.  Upping the protein, increases satiety (makes you feel full when eating), stimulates energy expenditure (burns more calories) and preserves muscle!

That's the plan.  We will see if it helps kick start that weight loss again.

I can do this and I have to keep telling myself that I feel great, look great and have already achieved so much!

Do you have any help hints or advice when you hit that plateau?  Leave them in a comment for me :-) Have a great week everyone.

End of Week 46 - One of THOSE weeks :-)

Hi there everyone.  I trust you all had a fabulous week.

Hubby was off work last week and we took the opportunity to spend some us time together.  Even going to the gym each day :-)

Didn't end up going clothes shopping, but I did get myself another pair of walking shoes now that the weather is finally changing for the better.

I did manage one 5km Nordic walk on Monday of last week, but the rest of the week it rained!  So the gym and the Treadclimber took a beating :-)

Let's get onto the workouts.

With hubby off - I did spend some extra time at the gym and felt really good about it.  I also am up another fitness level to 65 :-)  More details on that fitness score can be found HERE.

However...

Let's do the weigh in.

So, even though I spent more time at the gym, I have maintained this week.  However, I still feel as though I am doing really well and know this last bit of weight loss is going to be harder.

To keep me motivated I thought I would do some measurements and stuff :-)

If you click on the photo it will enlarge if you need to see the measurements more clearly LOL!

As you can see from the measurements there has definitely been some more improvement since February.  This keeps me still thinking positive, and look at those hour-glass measurements 38-30-38 :-)

Some other encouraging measurements!

Thought I would calculate the percentage of Body Weight that I have lost since I started this journey back in May last  year.  Using the following calculation :-

Original Weight - Current Weight = Weight Loss
(Weight loss x 100)/Original weight = Body Weight Loss Percentage

so

220 - 151 = 69
(69 x 100)/220 = 31.36%

Oh my - that is almost a third of the original me!

While we are at it let's do my BMI (Body Mass Index).  The recommended level of BMI for a healthy person is between 18.5 and 25.  I started this journey at a BMI of 35.5 !!!  That is classed at Obese! Not a nice word but it is what it is!

I am happy to report that as of today my BMI is currently  24.37 and I am now classed as being in the normal healthy range for my height.  However, I know I am still carrying a little extra fat, so with continued exercise and toning that will improve :-)

Keeping motivated at this point in the journey is important, hence doing the measurements and other calculations and it reminds me how far I have come.

Have a fabulous week everyone.

End of Week 45 - Never in a million years!

Happy Monday everyone.  I trust that you all had a great week.

I decided, several weeks ago, to rid my wardrobe of all the TOO big stuff that I had in there!  The last time I lost weight (not this much) I kept the old clothes and think that was my mistake!  Put a bit of weight on - oh I can wear this - put more weight on I can where this!  So, to purge the wardrobe and give some to the charity shop was fabulous.  Now, if I put a bit of weight on, it's not a case of putting old clothes on, or buying new - I can say oops need to loose a couple of pounds things are getting tight!

I am slowly venturing out into the world of shopping (wasn't ever my favourite thing to do, but that's changing LOL!) - nothing too over the top yet as still loosing weight.

Another visit to Costco on the weekend and they had some lovely capri jeans.  So I picked up two sizes as I'm still unsure of my size.  Picked up a 12 and also a size 10, really not thinking that the smaller size would fit but - you just never know do you?!

Anyways, came home and tried them on - OMG the 12 was too big and the 10 fits wonderfully! I never thought in a million years that I would fit in a size 10!   So I took the 12 back, with pleasure, and treated myself to a second pair :-)  Wonder what size I will be at the end of this journey?

I'm still a bit shocked to be honest, as I really can't remember being a size 10!  Also, as I'm still losing weight - I don't want to buy too many clothes, but I do need some to live in through the summer :-)

Hubby is off this week, so we might do a little bit of shopping to enhance the wardrobe and we might even treat ourselves to a lunch date :-)

Anyways, here's this weeks workout :-)

And straight on to weigh in.

Start Weight
220 lb

Weight End of Week 44
152.5 lb

Weight this Week
151 lb

Weight Loss
1.5 lb

Weight Loss Total
69 lb

That's another 1.5 lb in the right direction :-)

Another 1 lb to penultimate goal and then will set my new and possibly final goal!

I hope you all have a fabulous week.

End of Week 44 - OMG!

Well hello there and a happy Monday to you all.

I'm still doing this after 44 weeks!  I have to admit that it only seems like yesterday that I started this journey and it was the best decision I ever made.

My health and fitness is the best that it has been in years!

I am thankful that my husband took a leap of faith and bought me the Treadclimber last year, it has really turned things around.

I never thought I would say that I am happy to be exercising, happy to go to the gym and actually feel good for doing so.  I even treated myself to some new gym clothes over the weekend LOL!

Anyways, here's the workouts this last week.

I have upped the amount of time I spend in the gym by just 5 minutes and also have been upping the speed level on the Treadclimber :-)

Let's get to the weigh in.

Start Weight
220 lb

Weight End of Week 43
154.5 lb

Weight this Week
152.5 lb

Weight Loss
2 lb

Weight Loss Total
67.5 lb

Another 2 lb weight loss!  And the reason for the OMG! moment in the title of today's post is .....

I can honestly say that I have not weighed 152.5 lb (that's 10 stone 12.5lb in UK terms) since 1987!!! Yep you read that right - 1987!  That was when I was in my first year as a member of the Royal Air Force.  That's 30 years since I have been that weight.

Do you know what that means?  It means that my husband has never seen me at this weight!  That seems to be such a strange thing to say doesn't it!

I am 2.5 lb away from my penultimate goal! and reaching 150 lb for Canada's 150 Birthday on the 1st July this year :-)

Hubster lost another 1.5 lb this week - taking his total so far to 19.5 lb!!

I thank you all for your continued encouragement, advice and support - I'm doing this!

Have a great week.

End of Week 43 - Back on Track

Happy Monday everyone.

I had a wonderful visit with my eldest daughter Shannon, at her college pad last week.  My visit did get extended by an extra day, so the Sunday to the Thursday, because of a snow storm at home that would have made the journey a bit risky.  More Mother/Daughter for me :-)

I was really good whilst away, making wise choices on the food, as we ate out a few times. I also had a couple of treats - why not?! eh :-)

Anyways, the drive home on the Thursday went really well and was glad to be back home.

I managed to get workouts in for the rest of the week and a visit to the gym with hubster :-)

I upped the workout, on the Treadclimber, again over the weekend and it pushed me up to level 63 on the Fitness score :-)

Here's the weigh in :-)

Start Weight
220 lb

Weight End of Week 42
156.5 lb

Weight this Week
154.5 lb

Weight Loss
2 lb

Weight Loss Total
65.5 lb

A 2 lb weight loss, makes up for last weeks maintain :-)  Really pleased with that and back on track :-)

Hope you all have a great week.
